Just because people here seem to be into online free games.. I haven't messed with it too much, but seems more interesting than Fallen Sword at least.

i remember playing rune scape 5 years ago. it was crazy fun back then. i don't know if it would be the same now though, with so many players.

Something with the chat client there prevents me from playing that at work. I remember pissing around with it a couple of years ago. For a "free" game it was alright. Seemed at the time you had to donate to be able to enjoy it.

Yeah, I played it for a bit last night, half the stuff I tried to do it kept giving me a "you can only do that on a members server" message.

Yeah, one of my friends was playing this quite a bit.

I told him if he's going to put that much time into a game, he may as well play one of the big three (EQ/WOW/All the other ones).

Now he's quit all other hobbies and has been hooked on WoW for half a year and basically does nothing else. I feel kind of bad about it.

I still don't get the attraction to WoW. The graphics and game play don't do it for me. I suppose due to it's mainstream marketing, it's the most accessible to the masses.

My name on Runescape is the same as Fallensword, TheendIwin. Runescape was great until it got crowded. I quit playing when it got to the point that I couldn't find a place to mine no matter when I logged on or where I tried to go. I can't imagine it has slimmed down in the past 2 years.
