"This (the traffic incident) was something that was no big deal. He has done everything he has been told to do by the league and by the courts," Frazier said.
Yeah, I am sure they suspended his license for no reason at all...

Chris Henry is a serious head case. For not being a Bengals fan, I hear his name associated with disciplinary actions way too often.

Isn't it funny that Henry and Pac Man both left WVU the same year?

A friend of mine smoked a blunt with Pac Man in a Morgantown bar, while he was in the NFL. True story!

Henry was one of nine Bengals players arrested during calendar year 2006. Henry was arrested four times in three states from December 2005 through June 2006. About 40 players were arrested league-wide during 2006, and 12 players have been arrested since Bengals cornerback Johnathan Joseph was arrested in Northern Kentucky in early January on a marijuana possession charge.
When I see 40 out of 1600-1800 players arrested it says to me the problem is systemic and probably goes beyond the NFL back into the colleges. They need to tighten their shit up and ensure the athletes aren't treated like some prima donna with no restrictions... but I don't see it happening because its a recruiting tactic. The Bengals especially need to examine their practice in what they are drafting, in terms of the character of the players. Yes, these are young men with more fame and money than they know what to do with, but it takes a certain amount of discipline to keep yourself in shape to perform on the field. There's no reason they can't be taught to use a little of that discipline off it as well.

p.s. Cannobeer I hope your Bron-corpses have a little better luck than last year, but shouldn't you be a converted Seahawks fan by now?

Double U Tee Eff.

I hate the Bengals more than possibly anyone on the planet. You are not still harboring a grudge about my Steelers pounding your Broncholes to dust in their home stadium en route to their 5th ring are you?

Bang-als have a new rival in the arrest dept?

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2862951
Carroll was Jacksonville's fifth player arrested since September.
Carroll was the 3rd Jag this year so the 5th since September seems a little bloated but its still a bad trend. I'm kind of reserving judgement on them waiving him though: its a "nice to see" in terms of holding these guys somewhat accountable for their behaviour but its easier to treat a fringe/back up player this way than a starter.
