Baghdad offensive unopposed, PM talks to Bush

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - U.S. and Iraqi forces sweeping through Baghdad met little resistance on Friday in an offensive that Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki toldPresident Bush had been a "brilliant success" so far.

Because militias always respond to sweeps by frontally attacking?...They don't just fade into the background then attack when opposing forces aren't expecting or actively looking for them ever...

The Iraqi government is just a puppet joke, nothing they say should be taken seriously.

The militia isn't in any rush, unlike the Bush Administration, which among a thousand other reasons is why this surge will fail in the long term.

I hate the war as much as the next person who isn't a redneck. But fuck sakes. Do you REALLY think they are frontally attacking them?
Some people I expect to think so small about things, because they just don't know whats going on besides whats on the news. At least try and find out what kind of operations they do before slamming it.

It doesn't matter what type of operation they do, they'd lost before they went in and they are still losing.
