Great album, not many songs on here I ever skip.
Highly recommended to Incubus fans.

Man, I promptly deleted this album after I first heard it, but after hearing what you all are saying, I think I definitely got the wrong first impression. I've always been a big fan of Incubus and when "A Crow Left to the Murder" came out I thought it was kind of a flop - even though I did come to like quite a few of the songs on the album. After I heard the singles that Incubus released on the Stealth soundtrack I was pumped for Light Grenades to come out, but then that album wasn't like I expected it to be.
Regardless, I'm going to have to give this album another shot~

Hrm, how did I miss this thread? I've been a huge Incubus fan over the years...

anyway, Light Grenades is an awesome album - definitely something you have to listen to a couple times before really getting into it - but once you do, it's amazing. The album, when compared to the others, shows the true changing sound of the group: they've matured on such a significant level.
I didn't like Crow much until I listened to it excessively - it grew on me, but at a much slower rate than this album.
P.S. I just recently got the Alive at Red Rocks DVD, and my god is it amazing. I haven't seen the band life, unfortunately, but damn, it really makes me want to.
