How's this going to work? You can sign a few individual named players according to the article? Can you use NFL uniforms or do you have to make fake logos etc?

Wouldn't it be better to give the NFL the big FU for approaching EA for the deal in the first place?

Ddn't want to badmouth the NFL in a forum full of americans on Superbowl week. Bad Karma and all of that =P

Didn't know that it was the NFL that had approached EA instead of the other way around.

How does the NFL contract work? Does EA pay a set amount and then get all the profits from game sales? If so, the NFL probably won't give a shit. If the NFL gets a percentage of sale, then they'll care if 2K is eating into sales.

Madden really is a shitty product. EA is just a greed machine. They'd release last years game with updated team rosters if they could get away with it. 2K seems to care a little more about the look and gameplay of their products.
