I will be playing for sure...although the fact that blizzard is making an MMORPG is some what of a paradox. MMORPGs are made to be released to the public, then based on their opinions and ideas, tweaks will be made to the game. But blizzard is famous for perfecting games before they release them. I'm sure beta testers will have some good ideas, but a few beta testers can't replace over 100,000 people. So how can they perfect it before releasing it without releasing it? Oh darn I've gone cross eyed.

Yeah
Undoubtably I will be playing World of Warcraft..... This is what I have been waiting for for years, a company that has the manpower to step up and take the thrown of MMORPG kings from Verant.... Which would force them to put OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS into Everquest 2, and so on. Everquest had no stellar competition, in my opinion... DAOC was cool, but most came back to everquest, whether they admit it or not. This one will take me away from both games, and i cant wait... Later

I'll will definitely try it out. Innkubbus's mentions that blizzard perfects games off the start and not tweaking isn't really correct though. Although they do seem to put in a lot of work in releasing a solid game to start, they historically have done a lot of balance tweaks in follow up patches to their games (look at the patch lists for diablo 2, starcraft for example). Usually they have done a fairly good job at addressign balance issues in this. Another thing I like about blizzard is typically they are very good about actually publishing the game mechanics of how things work and interact. Once again for an example go over to http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/ and you will see tons of data/formulas etc. about how the game works (compared to eq where they typically like to hide the mechanics from you, although they have gotten a little better).
