Hrm, I wonder if I could talk my paunchy fiance into something like this. He spends most of his free time playing WoW and trying to get him to go to the gym or ride bikes with me is like pulling teeth. And when I do get him to exercise with me, he moves sooo slow and whines after 10 minutes.

Of course it doesn't help that he is under the impression that he only needs to lose 10-15lbs when I think closer to 30-40 lbs would be right.

Now to find a program to help gain weight.

I'd do almost anything to gain 40 pounds.

Eat, train, sleep and then eat some more!

Lots of proteinesupplements and creatine, workout like a dog and shock the muscle.

You grow while you rest and recuperate!

Always harder for taller people to gain mass with class, especially if they are hardgainers! (ectomorphs have VERY FAST metabolism)

Change your diet!

1.5-2 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight.

Sarg, when you think you have taken more protein, take more! :D

Rice, potatoes, pasta = lots of carbs

Tuna, Chicken, Turkey, Cod = lots of proteine

Eggs have the BEST protein your body can use. Use combinations of these in your meals!

-

Try to pack on 2-300 grams of protein a day.

75 grams in the morning, 75 at lunch, 17 for snack, 100 for dinner, and whatever extra after that.

Eat just about anything in sight. You have to Eat to Grow.

I don't care how many supplements you take, if you don't eat, you won't grow.

Eat and then eat more Sarg! :D

-

Make your own proteinshakes.

16 oz. Milk (any kind)
3 oz. Corn oil
5 oz. Water
15 tbsp. Protein Powder (3/4 cup)
4 eggs
6 tsp. Lecithin granules
Flavoring

This has about 68-70 grams of protein in it, and a lot of calories.
It is great for putting on weight!

Yes! He doesn't believe me! I even went online and looked up his height/age and what his healthy weight range should be and he wouldn't look at it. He is in serious denial!

height/weight ratios aren't very useful because people have different bodies and muscle is heavier than fat.

just slap him on the gut and tell him you aren't fucking him til he loses it.

I actually kinda like beefy guys, as long as they have muscles too, and don't have a huge gross gut.

Anyone can build mass with class if you eat right and train regularly, even if you are the most hardgaining ectomorph of them all.

When you say Beefy Kyo, i assume you mean Mariusz Pudzianovski-physique and not John goodman?

Doctors told me I should be around 215-220lbs for my height (6'6"). So that's my goal!

Yeah, aim for that Sarg.

Carb up and add more protein, eat eat eat.

Only three things to think of if you want to build mass, Eat, Train, Sleep!

You grow while you sleep so don't lose sleep either by staying up late playin Vanguard or similar :D

Add Protein-shakes to your diet so you dont have to live in the Kitchen makin food all the time.

Eat more, move less! It worked for me. . .(><)

Now I'm on the reverse program. I'm down about 6 pounds since Jan 1. Another 40 or so and I'll be happy.

Should never have given up smoking ;p
