Christmas presents for a 10-11 year old?

Post by Drolgin Steingrinder »

My youngest cousin wants 'computer games' for christmas. I have no idea what to get him - he's autistic and has an extremely odd attention span, so it can't be anything with a harsh learning curve. It can't be too simple, either - any ideas?

Oh, PC games only...

If he likes building stuff I suggest The Sims or The Sims2. Then go on line and get the cheat code for money so he spends more time enjoying the game than having to work. Some of my co-worker's kids play and love it.
(So do I) LOL. The Sims Complete edition is better than The Sims 2 IMO.
And you can go on line and download all kinds of objects and skins.

Personaly I like making castles and fantasy themes. The 12 year old co-worker's kids like Elvira, Beyonce, Frankenstein, and other gross monsters. There's thousands of sites that have free skins. Beware of the paying sites though, some of them offer sexy skins.

Ok, Beyonce fits, but I think you're being a bit harsh by calling Elvira a gross monster! ;)

EEeeeep sorry, I meant Frankestein as a gross monster, not Beyonce and Elvira, hell Elvira is super hot as a Sim. Wish I could show you.

Other monsters I found was Golem from LOTR, Sleepy Hollow headless guy, Jack from Jack in the box *tremble*, Demona from the cartoon Gargoyles. Felicia and Demitrius from Darkstalkers, and a shit load more. One of my favorite male skins is Brad Pitt, I like looking at him.

Altogether I have about 5 gigs worth of skins, objects and building supplies I have downloaded for this game.

Heh I really like this game.

I second Lego Star Wars. You can get both versions for PC.
