I'll start some things off with a random google of images from the area where I live, as most of you know, just outside Belfast, in Northern Ireland.
We have towns/cities and then lots of hills, and a nice coastline and all the rest. Without further ado, Antrim (the county I live in) in all it's wartorn/picturesque glory.

Just beside my college.

City theatre.

View of City Centre

The view from slightly further across the city hall lawn back towards the city hall. Imperialism at it's finest

Carrickfergus Castle, about 3/400 metres from my house (about 10 miles outside Belfast).

No picture of Northern Ireland would be complete without obligatory mural protestant/catholic bullshit "troubles" pictures.
But first, some malicious Mural artist has taken it upon himself to make a rather cutting political point.

Some protestant Unionist crap.

Some republican/catholic crap.

I have to take the coach to Tool from that Hotel on the left, assuming I don't get shot first (not really, but still - the "sandy row" area is a shit place full of absolute morons).

Obviously someone thought the same as me and paintbombed one of the murals. zing!
There are a million murals in and around Belfasts crappy working class housing estates, but they take up a very small amount of space overall in the country which looks substantially more like the earlier pictures in the post.
I don't know if you found these interesting, just thought it may be a cool idea.
