Schembechler had a heart attack on the eve of his first Rose Bowl in 1970 and another one in 1987. He has had two quadruple heart bypass operations.

Sounds like he was fortunate to live to 77. Hopefully the OSU fans will show some respect during the moment of silence that's sure to take place at tomorrow's game.

He was the face of Michigan Football for almost 40 years, and one of my heroes since I was a little kid. I'm really going to miss him.

Michigan Football? Fuck he was the face of Big 10 football or even NCAA football.

Sorry to see a figure like Bo go. I would imagine things will be as somber for UM as things were here when Woody passed.
