Wow, this is a lot more immersice... and to think until a couple nights ago I would use rome to pass time... this is quite a game. It evolved nicely again, the AI is much improved and the graphics are awesome, Home run once again!

I really enjoyed M:TW. I hope they spit something out for the 360 although it is tough to quickly control RTS style gameplay w/ a gamepad...at least for me. :)

Try Viva Pinata! That's real time and has a nice control system that hopefully other games will copy.

Is this game still fun? I will most likely get it for Xmas from the inlaws. Just wanted some more input before I open the game and can't return it.

Ahhh thanks. I guess you can understand the confusion due to the title of that thread compared to this one.

I got this for Christmas. If you like this game, check out the complete rip-off (and in many ways better) Mark of Chaos.

So far, I am enjoying it.

If you have payback from your merchants, sail WEST. Send at least 20 merchants and a diplomat or two to the Aztec region and plop them down on the tobacco, gold, silver, chocolate. Some of those earn over 1000 per turn, with no competition to your merchants.
I probably gave you virtual items once upon a time...
