Stranger Than Fiction

Post by Neziroth »

Will Ferrel needs to stop trying to make Comedy / Drama movies.

This movie didn't have too many laugh out loud moments, it was boring toward the middle, and the ending was absolutely unrealistic and stupid (see spoiler).

"Oh, I don't want to die but your book is so good you should just finish it and kill me anyhow" - That's basically how it ended, with a small twist.)
I give it a 4 / 10 and do not recommend it. I should have gone to see Borat.

I saw it last night, and I liked it. I'm all for people taking a different direction than they normally do, and I thought Ferrell did well in this movie. It was entertaining, though not laugh-out-loud funny but it wasn't trying to be. I wouldn't call it one of the best movies that I've ever seen, but I wasn't sad that I paid $9 to see it either.
