igive

If any of you will be shopping for Christmas presents online (or any other online shopping) I highly recommend signing up with igive.com. A percentage of what you spend (depends on the store) is donated to a charitable organization of your choice. I'm involved in a Boston Terrier rescue group here in Houston and have used igive before. It really works. The money donated does not come out of your pocket. Its donated by the store.

There are LOTS of stores, including a lot of big names like Target and Best Buy (although they seem to donate the smallest percentages go figure).

You have to enter the online store via the igive website and you'll get a popup window confirming that any purchases through that store will be applied toward your account. The window provides info about percentage of purchases that will be donated and any extra web specials going on.

Use your Christmas shopping to its fullest!
