Can anyone fill me in on the best way to get tailoring to 200+ range..
I'm sitting at approx mid 80's right now.

Get to 108 tailoring reinforced leather armor
108-138 Sacred tunare silk (used in making Ceremonial Solstice robe so save these for when your skill start climbing into the 200s)
138 - 158 On either wu's armor and/or crystalline silk armor
158-188 Farm those superb rockhopper hides for Acrylia studded armor
188+ Do combines on anything you can get your hands on. Use the flawless rockhopper pelts for acrylia reinforced armor, use the sacred tunare silks for the cabbage quest robe

*edit* How could I forget othmir furs? If you're ok with killing these cute fellas, you can make othmir fur caps and supposedly have the best luck with skill increases.

Heh, I have gotten from 115 to 150ish with no probs with Nightmare Silk Bowtrings...damn near a skillup every attempt...
...I fact I had no desire to skill up tailoring at all, just couldnt believe the increase rates so I kept making them to see how long it would continue...I believe they triv around 162... and they fail rate was suprisingly low given the differential...
