I laughed at that one a lot too when I read it yesterday morning. Tycho's face in the last panel makes it gold. I can totally imagine that scenario being played out in my teh real life.

You're more than welcome to not find it funny. I'm not one of those pretentious types that believes everything they find funny is what everyone else finds funny and nothing else is allowed to be funny, like you find over in the Movies forum... oh wai
I think you have to have friends like those two, and can picture exactly how they would say things like "Oh, I remember, it's candy. Candy is delicious" in order to find it funny.
Fortunately, i do
Let's think the unthinkable, let's do the undoable, let's prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all. - Douglas Adams

That, or a diehard PA reader that has been reading the comics every update for several years has found a way to identify with them as fake-people. It sounds sad, but it makes the comics funnier. I haven't missed a Foxtrot strip in years and I feel strangely connected to the characters.
"There is at least as much need to curb the cruel greed and arrogance of part of the world of capital, to curb the cruel greed and violence of part of the world of labor, as to check a cruel and unhealthy militarism in international relationships." -Theodore Roosevelt
I thought it was funny. I thoguht today's comic was funnier. I think a lot of times you have to read the intro on the main page to truly appreciate the humor of the comic. /shrug
Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.
