Water Temperature Forecasts?

Post by Sylvus »

Anyone know of a good site with current water temperatures? More specifically Michigan inland lakes rather than the Great Lakes (Lake Charlevoix to be exact). None of my searches seem to find inland lake information, I was assuming it would be on Weather.com or some government site, but I am only coming up with blanks.

The lake was like mid 50s last weekend, my testicles became reacquainted with my body cavity.

I was hoping to find out if it had warmed up at all.

Cold but warming up. 50°F in Whitefish Bay is the best I can come up with, not a whole lot of data out there.

http://coastwatch.glerl.noaa.gov/glsea/glsea.gif is a pretty nice overlay of the greater lakes temps, can guess based off of that somewhat. Inland temp will be slightly higher than coastal temp. Also, it will depend if you are next to shore or in the middle swimming off of a boat.
