Is there any way to get to the Black Forge without going through the Summoners Tomb in BRD? I snuck all the way to the tomb and got stopped by an unpickable door.

Yes, in Ambassador Flamelash's room, sneak around him, then jump into the lava and swim to the land you can see across the way. I recommend having greater fire protection potions to do it, but lots of people have soloed the MC attunement this way.

I was tempted to do that but wasn't sure if I would be able to get up on the other side. I guess I can give that a go tonight and see.

Anyone have any idea how much dark iron bars are selling for on your servers? No one is selling on mine so I priced mine at 20g a bar and they sold very quickly. I am thinking about upping the price to 40 a bar because they are a bigger pain in the ass to get than arcanite bars.

It will depend on the server. They can be cheap on mine because of the farmers selling 10k bars, yes 10,000, per character.

Thanks for this! On my first attempt I fucked up ask I just took a fire prot potion and dove in not waiting for the cooldown time. I got about 20 yards from land before I died. Second time I waited for the potion to cool down, had my lifestone handy, had a healing pot handy, and someone cast a fort on me before I entered the zone. I managed to aggro a fire dude on that little island on the way in but I made it to land(I also jumped a lot instead of swim). I had to vanish right away but I got in. I healed up, got all set and killed the 55 elite fire guy infront of the forge and made my bars. I just hope they sell for what I priced them at. Even if I only sell 3 I will have covered the cost of the trip and the ore.

Oops, yeah, you want to jump consantly when swimming in lava, because you can miss ticks of the dmg while you're in the air.

Actually Incendus isn't near there really. I got the quest complete where you ask the succ chick to go make out with her lover and she opens the door. Once the door is open you sneak past the few citizens and down to the ambassadors room. He is in the middle so you can avoid him and go to the other side. You can see the bridge. You want to go to teh left side, avoiding the island if you can as there are 4 nasty fire ele's there. Make it to shore and you are under the bridge. Careful because there are 3 fire ele's on top of the bridge.

On a side note, I tried selling the bars at 40g each but that went over like a fart in church. I lowered the prices today to sell 3 bars for 75g or a single bar for 30g. We'll see how that works. I am hoping that because it is a needed item in the .5 armor upgrade quest that folks will buy them up. Much like how the price of arcanite went up because of the arcanite converter requirement.
