Now that's just messed up

Post by Zygar »

Chick dies IRL. Guildies log on his char and set up a memorial service. Another guild comes in, kills her character then slaughters everyone in line waiting to pay their respects.....twisted to say the least.

I'm not sure how you could expect any other outcome than what happened on a PvP server.

People think that just because it's a PvP realm you have free reign to be a total douchebag.

Wouldn't have expected any different myself regardless of the game.

If it wasn't a PvP server some clown would have messed it up in another fashion.

/agree

Too many PvPers are stuck on the "we're the real playahs, not carebears" mentality. The only way to avoid this shit is to do it where they can't fuck you as easily. As much as a person can empathize with the ones who lost their friend, they didn't think this out at all, in terms of where or how to remember her.

Too many kids and immature adults playing WoW.

Not a bad thing for Blizzard, but for the players.

Ok the circumstances are kind of harsh but the video was really kind of cool. I enjoyed watching it.

Edit: The more that I think about it the more I am astonished that the Horde had such a poor showing against the alliance. They should have been able to take them down. For shame.

I think I remember reading something on their site regarding sharing accounts when I was looking for updated information on character transfers. There were two sections with different answers to that question. One basically said that it was ok to "share" an account, but not ok to "sell" the account. I would try to dig up the links again, but I am at work.

I don't understand why anyone would think they could hold a public event on a PvP server. They should have done it in one of their factions cities if they didn't want someone interupting like that.

That said, they got completely rocked by those alliance. I've never understood why so many people roll on PvP server who either don't want to PvP or really suck at it. Half the HK's that popped up on the screen in that video were sub rank 6, and I don't think I saw any of the alliance die.

I was wondering about that as well, and all I could guess was that the people were probably afk or tabbed out. Most did not appear to even try to fight back or even move!. Hell, I would have found it hard to pay attention to what was going on in-game if I were standing in that long of a line.

Most of them were afk and wearing tuxedos/dresses etc.

Not hard to kill people in WoW then!

Even on a PvP-server one would assume there would be people with respect and able to honor the dead.

Then again, immaturity is everywhere :D
