Tomb Raider - Legend Demo

Post by noel »

This demo looks absolutely incredible. In the true spirit of the Winnow-Character-Model(TM), the new Lara model is ridiculous in proportion and skin (I think he'll really like it). The game itself feels really good on the PC without the need for a gamepad. It looks and sounds incredible, with a bit of 'N.O.L.F.' style thrown in to the feel of the game. It would seem the game might suffer from being too linear for some, but so far it seems really fun, and looks fantastic. It's on fileplanet.com now, and it's only a 500MB or so download.
Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.

I'd get it if Lara Croft was a 'M.I.L.F.'

NOLF was great. It combined the Half Life style with a fun 60's feel.

I like it. I was a big fan of the first one. I don't like how "jumpy" the facing is though and the fact that the camera angle will change and your position relative is thrown off.

I had the devil's own time doing the jump sideways onto the other chain, scurry up the moving-down chain fast, then dive sideways onto the original one, then jump onto the platform part.

Smushy walls with bone crunching sound is pretty win though.
