Battlefield 2 Euro Force - Now Available
Requires you to get it through the EA Downloader, and I think it required you to have a gamespy ID. I had one, not sure if it was an actual requirement. It's 352MB. I haven't had a chance to check it out yet, but I'll post something when I've been able to look at it.
Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.

A few quick notes:
There are only three maps. I already knew that. What I didn't know was that the three maps are 32 player maps. Unless I'm missing something, there's no 64 player size for any of them.
The maps look absolutely gorgeous. One of them is based around the great wall, another is in an oilfield with oil fires, and the last is near a quarry of some kind. All of them look great. I have no idea how they play since I've been busy exploring them to try and get an idea of what they look like before I play them.
There seem to be a lot more stationary TOW launchers in the Euro Force maps. There also seems to be more vehicles around, so that could explain it.
The new weapons seem very good. Not sure how they'll do in practice. The Spec-Ops gun seems to have a very slow RoF, but other than that they all seem rather nice.
So far just exploring the maps, I like them a lot. Will be interesting to see how they play.

I messed around for a little bit with singleplayer (16 player) maps this morning. I liked the design on the two I checked out (Great Wall and one other with Smoke in the title I think). I also jumped into a multiplayer to check out the new jet. I haven't used the jets in BF2 for a couple months, did they nerf something with the missile accuracy? I had a lock on a chopper that did not deploy flares and all 6 missiles missed horribly with plenty of room and heading straight towards the target at low speed.
Second one made me "lol."Skogen wrote:Q: Why did the French plant trees along the Champs-Elysées?kyoukan wrote:like france surrendering jokes ever get old.
A: So the Germans can march in the shade!
loller!
EDIT:
Q: How did the Germans conquer Poland so fast?
A: They marched in backwards and the Polish thought they were leaving.
