Well I heard there was a secret chord
that David played, and it pleased the Lord.
But you don't really care for music, do ya?

Yeah, O, when you music snobs post your lyric snippets, at least post what song/artist they're from so the proletariat has a clue what you're talking about.

And Bono!... although that one kinda blew.

That's why I need names, so I can expose myself to other things! If I wanted to appreciate poetry, I'd learn how to read.

(you are right about Tool, though)

Well, start right here!

Pick up Jeff Buckley's album 'Grace' and while you're at it, get a hold of one of the best live albums of all time: The Allman Brothers Band At Fillmore East. One of the truly great rock acts of all time at its peak.

edit: noob.

It goes like this
The fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah

Does that make you feel better Truant, and the Bono version was not that bad!!
When I was younger, I used to think that the world was doing it to me and that the world owes me some thing…When you're a teeny bopper, that's what you think. I'm 40 now, I don't think that anymore, because I found out it doesn't f--king work. One has to go through that. For the people who even bother to go through that, most assholes just accept what it is anyway and get on with it." - John Lennon

Jeff Buckley's version is my favorite by far. I really love the original, but to me Buckley's seems supernatural.
