Someone egged my car

I went out to my car this morning and there is egg all over it. Fucking kids, looks like they got at least one of my neighbors too.

Anyone know how to get that shit off your car? I went through the car wash and it didn't even touch it.

That does suck.. Hopefully your paint job isnt fucked.

Edit: upon some deep thought.. I think that when someone does this to your car, if you find out who it is.. You should be able to legally flog them in front of the entire neighborhood and whoever else wanted to watch.

I found out from my roommate we might have a serial egger in the neighborhood, he saw some other cars hit a few days ago.

Fortunately the high-pressure, wash-it-yourself place seemed to take care of the egg pretty well. No paint was actually stripped off, though if you look closely you can kind of see where it was. I'll need more time to determine whether or not it's visible enough that I'll want to get it touched up.

Sounds like it's time to form a lynch mob and dispense some justice the ole fashioned way: at the end of a noose! Hang a couple neighborhood kids, and I guaranfuckintee that there will be no more eggings, even if you don't execute the actual culprit. YEE HAW!

You may be able to just have someone lightly buff the area where you notice it, if it is hardly noticeable its hopefully just effected the clear coat and you can buff that away easily.[/google]

If it looks like it will cost too much to fix the paint job...might look at making a Comprehensive claim on your auto insurance if you have the coverage and a reasonable deductible that is.

A little bit of Shout and water on an old t-shirt will help remove the residual proteins hence some of the foginess

Which reminds me, with the 'old' paint you could use a bit of Cut 'n Polish to remove the oxidised paint on top and buff up the layer beneath, restoring quite a good finish with a bit of work (had to do small sections, in the shade, and it was quite time consuming).

I imagine with 'gel coat' you're quite stuffed these days.

About 15 years ago I was driving in the winter and some fucking juvenile delinquents egged my windshield from a passing car.

Instant frozen egg all over my windshield.

I couldn't see where I was driving for shit and I was so startled I almost wreaked my car. At least it cleaned up easily enough off the glass.

I got out and chased the little monster that threw it down and scared him so badly that he peed in his pants. then I called the police and got them to call his mom and dad. her last words to me was something to the effect of that she is going to sue me for everything I own for permanently damaging her kid. then I got $300 out of them for my insurance deductible because they didn't show up to small claims court. You know for someone that supposidly has a black husband you are awfully quick to start passing out racial judgments. You know shit about my background and normally I'm pretty easy going and would have let that go but unfortuanly I have been out drinking because an old friend came into town.

In this day and age color has a lot less to do with taste than enviroment but I guess growing up in the middle of the fucking north pole where everything is white having a black husband makes you special right (grow the fuck up already). I grew up in a mixed family so anything about race you say to me that involves race you can forget about it. If you have something intelligent and not ego driven then fine other wise leave my ethnicity out of anything you say towrds me.
