Read an article in R&T last week on the Veyron. Was written by one of the top F1 designers who also worked on the Mclaren F1 project. It's amazing that car can even get where it goes due to the challenges the designers had to overcome. The fact that is has a special key to enable top performance and unleash the 1001 horses is telling!

If you're a car nut of *any* kind, do yourself the best of favors and try and find the Top Gear rips on some public bittorrent tracker somewhere. It's the best automotive tv-show, period. It's smart and opinionated and elitist and so so so very ENGLISH. I love it - and the races they've done are just hilarious.
