"lets take it through Switzerland and see what they think of it...Ai! it is too noisy, get it out, get it out!"
You can let the Mclaren (F1) get to 120 mph before you set off, and you will beat it to 200
100 L tank, flat out, it is all gone in 12 minutes

This is what infomercials should be...

Read an article in R&T last week on the Veyron. Was written by one of the top F1 designers who also worked on the Mclaren F1 project. It's amazing that car can even get where it goes due to the challenges the designers had to overcome. The fact that is has a special key to enable top performance and unleash the 1001 horses is telling!

If you're a car nut of *any* kind, do yourself the best of favors and try and find the Top Gear rips on some public bittorrent tracker somewhere. It's the best automotive tv-show, period. It's smart and opinionated and elitist and so so so very ENGLISH. I love it - and the races they've done are just hilarious.

Bugatti Veyron vs. single engine plane
DB9 vs high-speed train
Ferrari Scagletti vs. commercial airliner
Mercedes SLR vs. powerboats/cruise ferry

I quite enjoyed their review of the most popular car in the world

June 2005 - "The mission isn't easy, and it will not be accomplished overnight"

Yea I love this show. It was usually on Discovery Channel on Wednesday but I haven't been able to find it in a while. Anyone know when it's on?
