I like the related story from June.
A new squirrel dish introduced by a restaurant has been taken off the menu after staff were threatened with violence by animal rights protesters. Chefs at the Hadley Bowling Green Inn near Worcester came up with squirrel terrine as a starter this summer, using squirrel and foie gras pate.
The restaurant said it is committed to providing fresh and interesting dishes but it is off the menu for the moment.
Customers were also threatened with violence.
Earlier this year the Halfway House in Malvern refused to change its menu after graffiti was left on the building in protest at it hosting a lobster festival.

Squirrel causes massive power outage
12/9/2005 5:29 PM
By: News 8 Austin Staff
A power outage occurred around 2:10 p.m. Friday at a substation near Barton Creek Mall in Southwest Austin when a squirrel got caught in a power line.
It damaged equipment in the substation and about 16,000 customers lost power for an hour and a half.
Those affected were in an area from Barton Skyway and MoPac all the way south to Oak Hill, between Walsh Tarlton and Southwest Parkway.
The mall also lost electricity and closed for about an hour. Customers exiting the mall then caused massive traffic jams because the traffic signals were not working either.
Austin Energy crews are still working to restore power to another 1,300 customers in South Austin.
