So me and the ex decided it's be nice to go to a Thanksgiving buffet at a local seafood house. They usually have an excellent spread for Thanksgiving and it's pretty reasonable.
We go and it's a 1 hour wait to be seated. 90 minutes later they seat us. We do not encounter one waiter in the entire time we were there. I had to grab one serving an adjacent table to get a glass of water for us. We had at least six dirty plates on our table at one point. I said that we apparently were seated at the "plague tables", which elicited a laugh from the folks at tables around us. 25 minutes after finishing dessert and still no contact from a waiter, we approached a hostess and the manager. The manager ate the bill, but damn.
