Picked this up from work they other day out of a sudden emphatuation with Martin Cahill. Great movie i must say. it came out in 1999 i believe and stars Brendan Gleeson and Jon Voight.
Martin Cahill was an infamous theif in Dublin, and this tells the story of him.
The movie is pure genius and greatly done, a bit confusing at times especially the majority of the beginning, but it smoothens out and you catch up.
Its a hard find on DVD unless you use amazon or the likes, but i suggest renting this movie and giving it a watch. Im a big fan of thievery movies, and this one is great.
Also, if you have seen Ordinary Decent Criminals, Michael Lynch's life is based off the life of Martin Cahill. I haven't seen ODC yet, but i am frantically trying to find a torrent or get my hands on it.
Great movie, it's at least worth a watch.
