The lore in this looks pretty convincing.

New Races are sent to each side my Illidan. Blood Elves are sent to meed with the Forsaken and the Dranei(The dranei are already in the game. They're the little dudes in that zone below the Swamp of Sorrows that ask for the spheres), which were natural enemies of the orcs in Outlands, their home world, are sent to the alliance.

Talks about a new class called the Spellbreakers, which were a blood elf unit in WC3:TFT. Dranei will be able to be spellbreakers as well.

A very interesting read but all rumors till BlizzCon next week.

Almost sounds like a 3rd faction might be created in the future.

That would be pretty damn cool I think. But they would have to rework a lot of things.

What I'd like to see is some of what has been posted in that fake post. Mainly that you see a visible effect of what the quests did like growing trees in the chared vale or other things of that sort. But the thing I want most in this damn game is WEATHER!

While it's interesting lore or whatever, it's not very convincing at all. The dead give-aways? .... 50-man instances. Then when they talk about the Lich-King in Icecrown they claim it will hold a 100-man instance where the horde and alliance work together? Uh, I'm astonished anyone could remotely fall for this obvious bullshit.

They'd have to do some SERIOUS rework of their servers in order for that to happen. As it is right now, at least on my server, 40 v 40 world pvp nearly crashes the server. Multiple guilds in the same dungeon.. like BWL nearly crashes the server, especially when someone's on Nefarian... There's no way this 100 man instance could be sustainable.

The fact that this is claiming there is any lore in WOW beyond "HURR HURR ORCS HATE HUMANS HUMANS HATE ORCS" is evidence enough that it's fake.

WoW has a very large and varied backstory. Just the reasoning behind why Scourge fight other Scourge is a story within a story. WarCraft3 and it's expansion were fantastic games just for the evolving, complex storylines. Those games alone introduced a huge volume of characters and background. Add in the books/RPG material and your statement is proven to be patently false.

Putting 2 of the 3 races that were allied on 2 separate factions wouldn't work for the lore. Blood Elves and Draenei would eventually meet in supposed opposition of each other. Plus, Kil'jaeden is of the Burning Crusade, and the Draenei would want nothing to do with Illidan even they knew Kil was his master. Even though he freed them from Magtheridon and his Fel Orcs, he only did it to establish a base of operations for himself/Vashj/Kael.

I really do like the Varmithras twist. I figured a dreadlord wouldn't be subservient for too long.

I really don't see the Naga being an independent faction, separated from the other two, to conduct rogue strike attacks on the Scourge.

New plague?
