Haven't seen The War at Home, but the O.C. can't be cancelled soon enough; it's barely some kind of weak teen remake of Melrose Place set in CA.

The rest are good though :>

Even worse is the fact that Hollywood is peddling its filth to families with cartoons."
These are the same clueless people that think video games are entertainment for children. You can read statements like this from organizations and pretty much guess the age group of it's members. These types of people are completely out of touch with the average American and stand on the sidelines complaining about a game they don't even understand.

I never saw any "city" in that show... could have been anywhere (except I think that doctor bloke had a beach house?).

Anyway, prime-time soap-opera should be a contradiction in terms =(

The War at Home is... okay. I doubt it will make a second season. Too many monologues.

It's like a normal sitcom, with 15-30 second long interruptions with a single character bitching in front of a white screen every minute or two. Annoying, not insightful.

Yeah it was kinda cool when shows like Malcolm in the Middle started making that monologue/voiceover thing popular but the way they do it in War at Home is just too jarring and they really overuse it.

I like the occasional Extreme Home Makeover but everything else on that list can die away. Even though I had enjoyed American Idol in the past I think they need to make it a contact sport for me to watch it again.

Not a fan of the OC. I watched the first summer it was on and thought it was alright but nothing that would really compel me to watch it weekly.

I have too many other shows to watch.
