Enchanters

Where is a good hunting ground to get new enchants? I am talking beyond the ones that you can buy from vendors. I know the AH is one place but on the horde side there isn't much selection. I checked out the alliance side and while they had more selection I am not sure if the pain of doing the transfer in gadget is worth the effort. I'd rather hunt them down on my own. I know they are random drops for the most part but has anyone had better experience in one area over another?

i would suggest thottbot and searching for the enchants you need and see what mobs drop them the most. never done 'chanting but tailoring and engineering recipes often times only drop off a certain mob or obtained thru vendors via reputation and some gold.

i did get +9 stamina enchant off an avenger in twilight's run in silithus this morning!

Crusader comes from WP.

Fiery Weapon comes from BRD.

Unholy comes from Undead Strat.

If you want good enchants, go farm faction from Timbermaws and such.

As in kill the mobs that give Timbermaw faction... a lot of them.
Then go check the Timbermaw vendors.

You can also get faction with Thorium Brotherhood (Start it off in Northern Searing Gorge) to get a few other good Enchanting Recipes.

Revered:
Mighty Intellect, is 22 int. to weapon (1H or 2H).

Honored:
Mighty Spirit, is 20 spi. to weapon (1H or 2H).

Friendly:
Mighty Strength, is 15 str. to weapon (1H or 2H).

For Timbermaw you need Honored for:
Enchant Weapon: Agility, it is 15 agi. to weapon (1H or 2H).

You should check out THIS site for more information on faction and things of the like. It will give you detailed information about the items you can get from Timbermaw and Thorium Brotherhood faction regarding Tradeskills, too.

THIS mod helps tons while working on faction. I believe it should still be working, I'm not 100% certain though. HERE is another I haven't tried but incase the first link doesn't work with new patch, you'll have a backup!

Anyway, hope this helps you out some.

Blizzard actually got a fucking clue and gave the default UI numerical faction values, as well as displaying the numerical value of each faction hit you receive.

Lifestealer drops off the ghosts in the first room in scholo... but is rare as hell (and few people besides guildies really get into wanting to help enchanters get it).
