I want to download a quicktime movie. Now the movie is embedded in a website. I told quicktime to put it in my cache, but for some reason its not doing it. I told it to give me options to save the movie, they arnt showing.
I went into the source file and found the exact file location.

I just cant remember how to tell windows to download that. Help!
oh btw, that video is the single from Rammstein's new album Rosenrot if theres any rammstein fans here.
I know theres a way to do this
Can't you right click the link and "save as"?
There is a bug in Internet Explorer where you have to clear out the cache and restart the browser if the cache fills up...otherwise, no matter what type of file you try and download, it will try to save as a .htm file. I haven't run into it yet since switching to Maxhon.

You can also just look in your C:\Documents and Settings\<your user here>\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files and sort by file type. You can then do a simple copy -> paste to your desktop (make sure to ignore any warnings your PC gives you) and there you go.
