OMFG! Maybe someday, priests will have 3 top tier talents worth taking.

My talent build. I didn't think it was possible but they made a restoration tree worth dumping all 51 points in.

Also, Hurricane is a SPELL now that ALL DRUIDS will get..

Watch out Core Hounds!

my nervis will be huge for weeks!!!

LoP looks neat, but not sure I want to spend 31 points in Feral to get it or not. I think going 22 or so in feral and the rest in mostly balance is probably the best way, but not sure!

I might try this out and see how it goes.

Impressive revamp, that's for sure. I'm really on the fence about which way to take my druid now. I'm a healer at heart, but both feral and balance have some intersting new abilities. Maybe it's time to make 2 druid alts?

Blizzard knows where their bread is buttered. The talents are neat and all, but here's what really sells subs:

So, Druids, how are you going to respec now? This is actually a tough decision now. It makes you want to go down an entire path now. I think I may just create a new druid and see how it works as full feral or full balance.

Dude, just copy your char to test, respec, test, delete, copy again, respec, test, delete, ect.

I'm going feral. I was seriously thinking balance, but then I thought the cost of shifting between Moonkin and caster for healing would be a bit too much mana. Also, as a general rule, there are more melees in groups/raids, so they would benefit more from the 3% crit. It could be argued that casters do more DPS, so even the 3% from moonkin would be better, but I'm also thinking about PvP. In PvP, I think Feral druids are really going to rock the house with our nukes, heals, and feral forms. I mean, once a Moonkin Druid is out of mana, they have nothing else to contribute. As a feral druid, I can nuke/debuff from a distance, heal myself and others if needed, and can always go into one of my feral forms to tank or DPS while I regen mana.

Another reason to go feral is they're much easier to deck out in equipment than either of the other forms. Blizzard really needs to get some feral druid sets together though.

I was thinking the same thing but I was going to create another druid instead of using the one I have now. Going Feral will allow me to solo quite well. My current druid I am going to go full resto because I mainly heal in the groups I play in now.

Anyone know the deal with Character transfers? I have a 41 druid on another server I'd like to bring over instead of starting fresh.

That's the exact reason I am not going full restoration. I'm going to fill the role of backup healer quite nicely and will even be able to be main healer with the right +healing gear, but I'm looking forward to expanding on the druid's versitility. I was pigon-holed as a healer in EQ as a druid, so I'm going to try and break out of the box a bit in WoW.

Well in our guild the only Priests that actually play are alts and still too low level to attend a dire maul session. That is why I will have 2 druids. One for work and one for play though when I think it through I'll probably change my mind.

Here's my current Template for a Freal/Restoration druid.

The true beauty of this is that you get all the sick damage options of the Feral tree and the godliness that is Heart of the Wild without Sacrificing Nature's Swiftness.

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/cla ... 0055010000

One last aside is that I chose Subtlety over Nature's Focus for the simple fact that I play mostly PVE in end-game instances and once a mob or many mobs start wailing on me, it's usually too late and I will die regardless.

With Heart of the Wild and my PVE healing/int gear, I get over 7700 mana self-buffed. I cross into the 8k range with Arcane Intellect on. This specific nugget with the added versatility of all those feral talents made sacrificing Innervate and Improved Rejuvination/Regrowth worth it.

Well, my guild has some mana eating flash healing mother bitch priests.... so I've got to go innervate spec. Going 0/17/34. Found I can still go cat and be decent at pvp. test server for the win.

Updated build:
http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/basic ... 0100000000

I decided to go more towards chances at dmg as oppossed to increased dmg when I actually strike. The fact that OoC is purgable sucks balls and made me rethink the balance side of things.

That was my final build for the 1.8 release. I'm extremly happy with it. I can dps in many different ways now and can melee with the best of them. Also of note, we had a ZG raid and our moonkin druid placed 5th in overall raid dmg. We stuck him in a group of 3 mages and another druid. As our raidleader said "Damn, I've never seen a druid in 5th place DPS even in a 5 man encounter" I think our changes are very, very nice overall. My feral build was really kicking out the DPS in both Bear and cat form. I had more rage in bear form than I could spend.

I've yet to PvP with the new tree, but I definately see my survivability going up considerably. (especially against ganking rogues)

Overall, druids seem very happy with thier new specs. I know I am!

This is my spec at the moment. It's extremely resto heavy and I like it quite a bit.

I think personal highlights are the completely aggroless Tranquility and much improved efficiency in healing across the board.

I decided to go full balance. I have a 41/0/10 build. Only things I left out of balance was natures grasp and natural shape shifter in favor of improved mark of the wolf and natures focus.

I can't give a good review of moonkin form yet as I haven't grouped with it. Solo is alright except for the fact that you can't heal in that form. I like having longer range on my nukes and watching them actually due some decent damage (for a druid).
