Oil for food Scandal

Post by Sumdaor »

There was a guilty plea from a former U.N offical today. With the wrangling over US profiteering in iraqi, and chest beating of the U.N. I find this to be ironic. This strikes a blow to the U.N.'s credibility. Furthermore, this makes me wonder if the U.N. view towards the war was altruistic, or a wanting of continuation of the status quo of the oil for food program.

The UN are no fucking saints, in fact, they can be blamed for literally a million people in the last 15 years with their oil for food bullshit.

If this is however going to turn ito some bullshit "I knew it lolz US RULES UN LOSERS" thread i'd just like to point out that all these developed world administrations be they US UK Or UN or whatever, well....their all as fucking evil and sneaky as each other.

No surprise, no big news.

I agree completely.

Damien Rice, on the other hand is fucking awesome.

On a side note, me and my mate are putting on a benefit concert for the red cross in december, so we tried to get Damien Rice to play, and we got speaking to his manager (lovely girl called Fiona), but she said he isnt doing any more gigs for the next 6 months, because he is writing his new album.

Pointless news, apart from the fact we have more Damien Rice epicness to look forward to soon!

The entire UN was against the war to ... no, forget it. It's just too stupid to argue against.

There was a failure to pass a U.N resolution to take any kind of military actions for failure to comply with past U.N. resolutions, I believe it was 1483? I can't remember off the top of my head. Thats what I am refering too.

But please your over dramatization of anything I have said is humorous.

Isn't U2 doing a reality show to replace their lead singer Sonny Bono who became a senator then died?

The UN is a defunct orginization

U2 is defunct and devoid of any real talent
