I am about 135 in my fishing and I was wondering the best places to go to bring the skill up to 225. I need some fishy things for my Alchemy.

I don't think he'll get skill-ups fishing there. Try in Assenvale or Hillsbrad.

You can get skill ups anywhere. Even in newbie ponds, you just won't catch the higher lvl fish there.

Yeah, but you get many, many more skillups fishing in non-trivial areas. I used the eng. bait to enable my hunter to fish in BB, and she got skillups everytime she caught something until like skill 200ish. I also caught assloads of the black and fire alch fish.

I wish it were clearer in game what the fishing skill of a particular body of water was.

First: Fly city to city finding all fishing supply vendors and purchase all Cooking Recipes. Yes, it will take a little time but its worth it.

Secondly ourchase Flint and Wood to start a cook fire.

Now start your fishing based off of the recipes you have. Using thottbot find the type of fish needed to cook with the recipe you can memorize.

Fish there until your cooking in that recipe is maxed. Now move on to your next recipe and a new fishing hole.

Keep doing this. Your Cooking will max out to 300 very very quickly. Your fishing will lag about 30 points behind your cooking.

I did this and it took me 2 days.
