I'd kill for a portable MP3 player that had 10GB of solid state storage, Sirius Satellite Reception, AM/FM Tuner, some sort of wireless tech so it could be used with wireless headphones, and 12 hours of rechargeable battery life.
They steal them for the data; RIAA has made finding Tupac and Biggie mp3s so hard they have to kill to get them!

Ipod is the way to go just because of the loads of car adapters they make, for 100 bucks you can pick one up that channels the music on to an empty radio station...so now i have a 3000 song random shuffle of GOOD MUSIC always on in my car, i dont think they make adaptors for most other MP# players

What lynks said. You were duped. Any audio device can use the FM transmitters and there are ones much cheaper than Apple's overpriced accessories.
There are also 20GB MP3 players with FM tuners so you can have the same amount of songs along with being able to check out some new music on the radio from time to time when you're not using your iPod in a car with a stereo.
