whatever. No one else besides me, my family, and 4 doctors got involved when we decided to take my father off his respirator. It's not the states, nor the federal goverment business. period.

I see a totally different situation. Being someone who was ok with the outcome I could at least understand the fight. This story has no similarities except for the eventual outcome of death.

A couple of other differences:

Terri Schiavo wasn't on a ventilator, if I remember correctly.

In this case the family seems to be unamimous, there's no disagreement going on there.
