(Album) Elliot Smith - Either Or

One of my mates just got back from a year long trek around Australia and one of his many discoveries was this guy's music. Which was handy

I have never heard of him before now, was wondering if any of you guys knew of him, or if he is more well known outside of the U.K.

Apparantly he is dead now, but this album is absolutely beautiful and again, I recommend it for anyone who likes soft intimate lovingly crafted songs.

Anyway, just throwing it out there for others to enjoy.

So go enjoy already!

PS. "Ballad of big nothing" is my favourite song on this album, what's yours?

My two favorite songs by him are "Can't Make a Sound" and "Color Bars" off his Figure 8 disc. I love this album because unlike a lot of indie muscicians who get signed to a big label he still kept the essence of his music intact regardless of the more "pop" feel to the album.
