Yeah because mediocre teams like the Bengals deserve to be endured by the entire nation.
Every team in the league except for the Houston Texans (which has been in existence for 3 years) has made the playoffs since the last time the Bungles were there. That list of team includes 3 expansion clubs and such woeful teams as the Cardinals, Bears, Falcons and Bucs. And of course having the worst cumulative winning percentage of any fracnhise in any sport since 1990 doesn't exactly earn them status as a drawing card.
They should be banned from TV in every market until they can finish over .500 just ONCE.

Chad Johnson's better. Now you need 21 more players to go with him.

Schedule for the Rams:
As usual NFC West matchups
San Francisco twice - Love beating on the weakest NFC West team
Arizona twice - Extra incentive to cream Warner. Can't wait to see him on the ground.
Seattle twice - Big rivalry this year since we skunked them last year, knocking them out of the playoffs.
Rest of the league
Tennessee - Really getting tired of the Super Bowl 34 Rematch in Preseason, now they give us a Regular Season game..at least we aren't playing Tampa Bay for the 100th time.
NY Giants - Warner's gone, no need
@Indianapolis MNF - Lone MNF Game of the year, ABC will have a hard time talking about anything besides Peyton Manning.
New Orleans - Could be fun
Jacksonville - Blah
@Houston - Spankin
Washington - Went to the Skins vs. Rams preseason game last year. Should be alright.
@Minnesota - No more Moss yay!
Philadelphia - Depending on where the teams are ranked in the standings / heading into the playoffs, this should be decent.
@Dallas - Yawn

So what happens to the College Bowl games now that the NFL has backed up the start of the season to the middle of September and plays their last weekend on January 1st? Of course this could have been easily avoided by starting the games one weekend earlier. I really hope they didn't push the start back just to exploit September 11th and put on yet another overdone extravaganza.

Adding a bye week to expand the season to 17 weeks was a great idea, although teams with late season byes often benefit more due to needing the extra rest.
An 18 game schedule, although nice for the fans, would be too rough for the players. People tend to be pretty beat up come playoff time as it is.
Less preseason game? Yeah, 4-5 games is just too many and nobody watches the shit anyway except for the 1st quarters when there are actually starters in.
