Sad day =(

Post by Drinsic Darkwood »

Hedberg was a great comedian, in my opinion. Sucks to see him go, especially at only 37.
The mystery wasn't cleared up until midafternoon today, when the comedian's publicists announced that Hedberg, 37, had passed away the night before. The cause of death was still unknown.

I've never heard his work, but I did hear he passed away today, and someone typed up a few bits from his act. He sounded like a really funny guy. As if the world needed to lose any more people like that.

Mitch was hilarious, I was lucky enough to see him live a couple times, most recently a little over a month ago, and he was always hysterical. In fact, he practically stole the show when opening for Dave Attel and Lewis Black. I highly recommend checking out his CDs if you haven't heard them, very funny stuff.

A sad day indeed, I'd heard a rumor yesterday morning that he'd died and I couldn't find any info on it, I was hoping it wasn't true. :(

Yeah, I heard about it and was hoping it was just an April Fool's joke or something, but apparently that's not the case. Mitch came by my campus just this past fall - even after hearing nearly all the jokes 20x before from Comedy Central it was still fucking hilarious.

I watched Mitch's DVD last night in tribute. That dude was funny. I wish he could have lasted a bit longer.

Very funny guy. I love how he would laugh at call out hsi own bad jokes.

He seemed majorly fucked up on drugs or somethign though...unless that was part of his act.

Too bad. I was looking forward to hearing new jokes on XM 150 from him.
