March Madness...

Post by Canelek »

...is almost over!!! thank the Pete! :D I really and truly hate March. March is fucking gay. With April comes baseball. Fuck the whole steroid issues...that is all about those 'popular' players that you jackasses follow like bonds and McWhatsthefuck. And the smiling "HI I DONT SPEAK ENGLISH WHEN I AM SAD" Sosa.

Cast all of that out.... Even towns that are completely and utterly retarded like Los Angeles seem to have compelling stories--some kind of strong sensation of competition....and LA is most entirely retarded indeed.

The old guard is almost gone from baseball...these relics will either get elected to the HOF or just sit and watch as true players get their due (and without the *). In the meantime, perhaps, we may see the sport experience a renewal...or maybe not... time will tell.

FFS, at least the long months of having to watch things such as figure skating, basketball and soccer will come to close and there will be some decent things on ESPN or whatnot--since the NHL seems to be forever confused.

PS: Yes, there have been some decent games in the NCAA Tourney...but still, basketball is pretty much tied into pop-culture, which is inherently 'very gay'.

Much <3 bitches.

I agree wholeheartedly. The NCAA tournament is the pinnacle of gayness. Bring on the baseball, golf, and fishing months!!!

Along with the soccer babble, we will also have to endure the monotonous squabble between noel and kelshara about cycling.

Id rather be forced to watch hockey than see more of that drivel.

I'm enjoying the soccer match on espn2 - minus the retarded ref, which even the commentators have taken notice of.

Holy SHIT - how about that offsides call against US, then the missed off-side AND hand call against GUA?

But hey we got a goal while I was typing this, so go us!

In all fairness, I do not hate Soccer, although it is not something I am interested in. I do hate tennis though, or any sport where people cry whether they win or lose. :D

i enjoy watching soccer when i get the chance but would not really call myself a "fan". i was in Germany last year during the Euro Cup or whatever the hell they call it and was intruiged at how much interest there was in it. i thought it was great watching the games while sipping on a hef in the bar. i enjoyed it as much as i enjoy watching my Panthers play here in the states while downing a MGD with my buddies at the sports bar. SLC has a new team now and i hope they are as fun to watch.
My goal is to live forever. So far so good.

How can anyone say baseball is boring but they enjoy watching soccer? That has to be the most mind-numbing thing I've ever tried to do.

Only Roddick cries when he loses so don't put the rest of us in the same boat with that guy.
