If I ever go to Australia, I doubt there is any fucking way I'd set foot in the ocean. Way, way, way to many shark attacks!!
We seem to only hear about the bad ones like this one, or "Man devored by 20 foot shark" or "Only 2.5 lbs of remains recovered by area man killed by a large shark", or "headless torso washes ashore on Perth beach, Shark attack suspected"
What about the people who are only nibbled on? I wonder how many of those Australia has per year? Time to do some research on teh internet!!!11!

I survived my Great Barrier Reef Dive Experience!

As pretty as it was down there, I probably wouldn't do it again. Not when there's IMAX!

I'm sure you have a greater chance of being struck by lightning than being munched on by a shark.

Then again I don't stand in a field flying a kite in a thunderstorm either...

On the subject of sharks, here's a pretty funny test. Which shark movie stereotype are you?

Sorry for getting sort of off topic Tenuvil :P

http://www.okcupid.com/tests/take?testi ... 6030505427
The Drunkard

You made a killing scoring 52%!

Every good shark movie needs some drunk person to take things into their own hands or just have no cares and to venture out into those shark infested waters. You die. It's as simple as that. These movies clearly state that if you drink, you will be eaten alive by a shark. You should seriously think about slowing down, or at least not drinking on a boat, on the beach or near any body of water.

Mine:
The Hero

You made a killing scoring 00%!

You do everything right. You can see the danger and have a solution that will kill the shark with no deaths but aren't listened too by the rest of the shark bait (much like you're not being listened to about Copernic on the computer thread). Dispite this, you still carry out your plan successfully and at least one hottie is saved that you make out with while the credits roll.

The Leftovers
You made a killing scoring 40%!
So you like to have fun, ignoring the rules on occassion and not always thinking about the consequences. What does that mean? Since no one will truly miss you, except for your hysterically sobbing mother, you become shark food. But of course, we need to find SOMETHING to prove it was you and that a shark did the deed. Usually your leg or arm isn't all too tasty for those sharks...and it washes up on the shore...where your dog or lover is still waiting patiently for your return.

The Greedy Bastard
You made a killing scoring 58%!
You like money. You like yourself. You like power. Everyone else is shark food. Yet, you too will become shark food. You hear of the shark, but why close the beaches...there's money to be made! You want your project completed fast...let's mutate the sharks! It's all in good fun...right? You think you're smart by ditching your spouse to save yourself, only to find yourself falling right into the jaws of a giant man eater. You bastard!

I may have posted this before, but I went to school with the daughter of the actual "Dingo ate my baby" lady. When she was finally released from prison the Australian government gave her a lot of money and she wrote an autobiography and made even more money and then moved to the US! We had parties at her house LoL

Hey, this is Australia's first shark attack fatality since December! That's almost 3 months between deaths!
