Guess I'm in the minority in that I simply don't find anything this guy does funny. I'm not offended by it, I just don't find him funny in the slightest.

This skit, wayne brady, and rick james have basically made dave into an overnight legend. He deserves it though, he writes about 80 or 90% of the stuff that you see on that show.

Yeah, that skit is on the season 1 dvd. So fucking funny, I think I was crying the first time I saw that. I am very excited for season 2 to come out

Eh.. Chapelle is okay, he's kinda hit or miss.

There's nothing particularly clever about his humor, and all the skits are pretty predictable, but it's the sheer malice and energy that make his stuff funny, even when the skits are kinda lame.

Hell, that's why SNL used to be so good. It was never FUNNIER than it is now (The writing on SNL was never funny. Ever), it was the comedic genius of the cast that made it all work.

BTW, this is probably my favorite Chapelle skit, except perhaps for the GTA one.
