Upcomming hype for the summer?

Post by Akaran_D »

What's on the list?

Star Wars: Commando
Devil May Cry 3

...only two I can think of.
Akaran of Mistmoore, formerly Akaran of Veeshan
I know I'm good at what I do, but I know I'm not the best.
But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.

It's probably not for the summer, but Elder Scrolls IV is coming out...Seems to be a bit hyped too. See, I'm even helping! =D

Ask me at the end of May what's cool and what's not. =D

The big hype is the 3 systems are all rumored to be unvelied at this year's E3.

GTA: San Andreas for PC (and XBOX) in June. I've fooled around with the PS2 version and I love the game (but hate the crappy textures, why couldn't they have spread it out over 3 or 4 discs and made it look pretty?).

I think the reason is that PS2 also has limited texture memory. You can have a small fabulously textured room or a large space with not so fabulous textures.

I'm not a PS2 programmer, so don't take that as more than a guess. =D

umm akaran, you do realize that SW: Commandos is already out, and that Devil May Cry 3 is like next week, right? Summer is in 4 months.

I'll play some X-Men Legends 2 when it comes out.

Besides that, I'm looking forward to buying the new XBox 360 or whatever it ends up being called, this November. I'll spend my $$ on games for the new console.

PSP comes out in a month, not summer but close. GT4 is already out, FF12 is farther down the line than summer, cant think of much else than xbox 2 possibly comming out during the holiday season possibly.

I played Elder Scrolls III on my pc and loved it. I could go at my own pace and wander off to explore whatever the hell I wanted to without needing to stick to the story line. The art was great and the the world was huge and dynamic. The improvements they made are exactly what I was looking for. This game imo is the next best thing to an online RPG. If they have it available on the X Shpere 2 I will definately be looking for it.

Zam: It was snowing yesterday. When it quits, I'll start thinking about summer.

As for Commandor and DMC, no, I didn't know until I walked into EB tonight. :(

Loser!

Oh, and I must add Battlefield 2 to the list, which comes out June 26th. (Pushed back from mid-March.. GRR!)

I played BFVietnam forever, and i'm still playing 1942 with heavy regularity. I've bounced through tons of games but I always seem to stick with the BF series.

I could never get into morrowind. It seemed like playing EQ without any interaction with players. Does it get better and better as you progress? Cause I was bored out of my mind in that game for the 4 or so hours I played it.
