All server flags were won at the silent auction. I was bidding with some guy from safehouse for the enchanter flag. I was not willing to pay more than the $700 for the enchanter flag. But from $450 to $700 was between me and that guy. But it was a ... spirited ... auction.
I don't get it. They are all basically the same flag with different names on them, and people buy them? Whats the angle here i'm missing? It cant be to make money unless the Fan fair department of VI is trying to show some kinda income for the show. Or is it suppose to promote server bonding through the competition of the auctions? Are these suppose to be collectibles? I want to go to a fan fair to meet the people but i'm afraid I won't understand most of whats going on. except the drinking part, that part I can understand
As for bidding on them... I'd assume its a unique piece of history of a fun-filled, liquor-soaked fan faire... as for VI getting cash for them? Someone has to pay for Absor's crack addiction, I would assume... /shrug
