70-car pileup

Surprisingly, no one died. However, it bugs the shit out of me when assholes don't take weather conditions into consideration while driving.

Slow, news day.

Ever watch Final Destination 2?
The opening pileup sequence is one of my favorite movie spots - ever.

But I guess that on the other hand, I could be like the rest.

In 'near white out conditions' you don't really have enough time to recognize what's going on and stop before sliding into someone else.

But yeah, a lot of people drive the same in bad weather as they do when it's clear instead of slowing down. Get a scanner and turn it on when it starts raining or snowing and see how many new calls go out.

I've come to the conclusion that people here in Ohio can't drive for shit.

- Some drive just as fast on pure ice as they would on bare roads. Typically SUVs, trucks or other AWDs. They usually can later be seen in the ditch.

- Some drive 40 mph even if the road is just wet.

Come on people, learn how to drive!

Both links work for me. Had to 'Save As.. ' on the video one though.

Sorta boring but the arrow pointing the wrong way makes it funny.

I'm honestly surprised you don't see it more often, I've seen "trains" of 15-20 cars on freeways in MN all doing 70 MPH, all 10 feet from each other's bumpers, and in season for a deer to cause the lead car to throw out the anchor..

I recall seeing a quite long video of a car stopped in the middle of 4 lanes at night. Car after car either barely missed or plowed into the back of it..
