Looks pretty unedited, so thought I'd post it. Made new thread instead of putting it on the other on purpose, so nyah!

Disgusting, is all I have to say. I expect more from players AND fans.

After finally seeing this, my thoughts are as follows:

I think that both Artest and Wallace should be banned from the NBA. They are a menace and have no business holding any job aside from stamping license plates. I hope they fucking pay and pay big. Well, at least Artest.

Quite frankly, I do not see how their behaviors can be justified by anyone. These men are not professional, they are street thugs with fat wallets. Fuck them.

It seemed like a normal NBA fight up until Artest jumped into the stands. From the looks of it he was being a clown on the scorers table after being confronted by Ben Wallace. It's so weird to see Rasheed Wallace being the cool headed on in a situation. Artest should be charged with assault for attacking the fan in the stands, there really is no excuse for that. Yea he had a beer thrown at him for being a clown, if he had sucked it up the rest of the brawl wouldn't have happened. The second fan he punched shouldn't have been on the court and yea I understand that one since as someone said you don't know what the fan is going to do, but there is no excuse for attacking that first fan.

Either way, Artest just cost his team their top three scorers for an indefinite amount of time. That's not even counting the repercussions of the possible assault charges against him and Stephen Jackson.

Oh and any fan that broke the law should be prosecuted the same way as Artest and Jackson, the odds are that the fans will get tougher sentences though.

So is this worse than Kobe? Obviously the fan gave consent.

Ah so that's how you justify it? You're not allowed to be a "clown"? There's no law that says you can't be a clown. I don't care if he was the fucking joker out there, the fan shouldn't have thrown a beer on him.

So if he flipped off the fans would that maybe allow the fans to pummel him to death with baseball bats?

Er where exactly did I post that the fans were justified? I'm pretty sure I ended my post saying that any of the fans that did anything illegal should be charged. I posted what I saw and I saw Artest being a clown, and then I saw a fan throw a beer at him at no point did I say that either party was justified in what they did. I did say that if Artest had sucked it up for whatever reason, lets say for his team, then the brawl would not have happened. Now because of what happened Jackson, O'Neal and himself are suspended and are facing possible criminal charges.

I'm of the opinion that players should never go into the stands. There is enough security at any professional sports venue to handle unruly spectators. As a player, you risk hurting yourself, your team, and your league in numerous ways.

Too often it seems it is the peaceful and innocent who are slaughtered. In this a lesson may be found that it may not be prudential to be either too peaceful or too innocent. One does not survive with wolves by becoming a sheep.

I don't really see a problem.

The NBA is possibly the worst professional sport in the world, and these fans were just looking for a way to actually make that piece of shit (the nba) fun.

I find no fault and reward the fans and players for stupidity damages.

Seriously, its the NBA...it sucks.
