I bought the first one for PS2, got to the end of the game, and decided i wouldnt buy the rest of the series.
Does the game get better? The first CD of the game seemend to have horrible itemization but a great battle system, dungeons were boring but the monsters were kool. Story was weird but i understood it nonetheless.
anyone have some feedback?

Don't dump anymore money on the series. This game has about 1.5 games worth of story spread out over 4 games, and the combat system doesn't evolve much. The computer controlled "player characters", which sell the story in part 1, become less and less engaging as it goes on as well.
