Canadians know how to make even election night funny.

What do you think about the world?

Canadians know how to make even election night funny.

One of the Canadian TV stations partnered with a Mentally Handicapped Association to stage television interviews for Canadian cable about the election. So you have a group of mentally handicapped people with news cameras interviewing all these big wig high profile people like Wolf Blitzer, and other news correspondants. The best was the guy who had his questions written down on cardboard and who would thump his mic on it to get peoples attention.
There is also nothing like seeing Dan Rather taken completely offguard on camera and being asked
"What do you think of a news program for the mentally handicapped?"
"I think a new program would be great"
"no no no news"
"A new program?"
"no Newwwsssssss"
"Oh a news program? *awkward pause* OH I think that would be absolutley great"

That had me rolling. You know these people couldn't ignore the reporters because they had a camera bearing down on them and there was no escape. That by far was the best part of this entire election.

What the fuck are you talkin about?

First I've heard of this. Who's producing this and is there a video clip that you can link anywhere?

I will look for it, I can't remember where I saw it. I was flipping through channels during election night and saw it.

Think this was on the Trio Channel, called 'How's Your News?'.
