Ok, here's the deal.
2 weeks ago: they wipe certs and restructure the armored assault cert so that we now have:

Lightning (Armored Assault 1) - 2pts
Main Battle Tank (Armored Assault 2) - 1pt
Flail - 1pt
Battle Frame Robot - 2pts. Not accessable until a patch today.

(BFRs are these new 'super maxes'. 50 min respawn, requires about 10 cavern base caps to aquire, and then 100 kills to access th other two varients, then 20 kills in a row to be allowed USE them)

Ok, so then they do this massive event all week to gte everyone hyped. BFRs are open for everyone to use, no certs needed, but they're having 'malfunctions' with movement, and weapons will spontaneously explode on them. Then come friday, they're removed, and immense battles begin: a game of capture the flag where a cont will go neutral, then you rush to capture the capitol then take a monolith to the console there.

So what happens monday? Patch in, is done. People log on, get their cave caps, and... BFRs are now THREE points. With no plans to change them.

The devs are being roasted alive right now.

I always thought they were a little too drastic on some of their changes in beta. I see that nothing has really changed.

I quit after they severely fucked up some patches in June after the Deliverer variants were introduced. The game crashed constantly and wouldn't patch properly. I gave up after two weeks of not being able to log on and canceled my account. If the restored the surge to its former beauty, I might be persuaded to resubscribe as I miss my jackhammer. Although agile + JH + personal shield was another favorite of mine. After they nerfed surge, the game started slowing to a crawl of long drawn out stalemates. At least when guys like Dreamer were surge warping around owning 20+ people at a time the game was exciting and had some pace to it.
