Employees of a private voter registration company allege that hundreds, perhaps thousands of voters who may think they are registered will be rudely surprised on election day. The company claims hundreds of registration forms were thrown in the trash. ... The out-of-state firm has been in Las Vegas for the past few months, registering voters. It employed up to 300 part-time workers and collected hundreds of registrations per day, but former employees of the company say that Voters Outreach of America only wanted Republican registrations. Two former workers say they personally witnessed company supervisors rip up and trash registration forms signed by Democrats. ... The company has been largely, if not entirely funded, by the Republican National Committee. Similar complaints have been received in Reno where the registrar has asked the FBI to investigate.

It's true, it's been going on for about a week here, and all over the local news.

Just because the media runs it doesn't make it true. They have been running claims on black voters suppression for four years. Not one charge has been filed and proven in a court of law. Yet, hundreds of thousands believe it to be true because high profile people keep making these claims with the assumption they are truth. I'll reserve my judgement until I see it proven. As stated here before this unfortunately happens all over the place to both parties. I just actually took the day off to work as a poll watcher all day for the RNC on 11/2. I think it's important all intersted parties be out there supporting the integrity of the voting system no matter what party affiliation they are.

It does say it is a private company....so as long as they don't just tear up the registrations of gay voters then they can do whatever they want. My guess is that the democrats will all receive refunds due to errors in processing in the next week or so.....since it is past the date you can register.

That's just disgusting but not unexpected. I KNOW I have stated this before but it's relevant. At one time I was moving up rapidly in the Rep. party here in Arkansas... eventually getting to the point were things like the above were actively discussed, that is when I switched parties.

Do I think some similar things have gone on before with the Democrats... probably so... but with the Republicans it's a consistant, habitual process of lies and decite... IF you don't believe me start volunteering and work your way up yourself, the surprises will scare and disgust you... if you care about your fellow Americans that is...

That info was gathered from former employees. Typically, former employees aren't the most unbiased sources. I'm not saying the RNC wouldn't do something like this, just that their sources are not necessarily reliable.

I think most people read that as sarcastic and facetious, but there's more truth to that than you may want to admit. Voter fraud is running rampant in this election. We will be seeing some serious biometrics or something on that level in the next election.

From what I read, one of them had saved some of the torn up pieces and took them to the news media. They contacted officials who looked up the names and sure enough, they had not been registered.
