auto-fill fields

Post by Dexail »

Is there a way to disable the auto-fill function for fields? For example (and this is hypothetical), if someone wanted to get rid of something like Hot Russian Cheerleaders from the google search field, how would one go about it?

thanks in advance.

For IE:

Select Tools-->Internet Options

Under the content tab, select autocomplete.

The turn what you want off.

For a Page Fill, deselect Forms checkbox

If you don't want to disable it, and just clear a few of them, double click the input box, and highlight the term you don't want, and press delete. If that doesn't work, next best thing is just to delete them all under the advanced tab in the taskbar and start menu properties.
